Nancy Michalak of Shady Run Studios is a talented artist. She teaches art in New Gloucester, Maine and has had her work shown in the Everson Gallery in Syracuse, New York and in the Society of Arts & Crafts in Boston, Massachusetts. When I first encountered her work, I was transfixed by her use of color beneath a shadowed overlay. Simply stunning! To say I was thrilled when she agreed to have her work be shown for this event is an understatement.
